I appreciate the fact that the service was honest and upfront. The waiting room was clean and uncluttered. They seemed to be busy, which is a good sign. My State Inspection took 90 minutes and I was given the estimate of one hour. I recommend that you lead with the longest possible time and when you are finished ahead of that time it is a "Wow" for the customer. Mr. Henry mentioned that he liked my car and I believe he is a gentleman and it came from his heart. I like this request and the offer of providing a service history for each visit. My review is 4.5 stars although I only put 4 because I cannot put 4.5. I look forward to having my car serviced here soon. Sincerely, Ron Foster

A very smooth maintenance visit: we dropped off the car, all needed things were done, and the car now rides better than before!

Once again, Allen Automotive has proved that they are the finest car mechanic shop in the greater DC area. I had to have the car tuned with short notice, Allen's employees made me feel as if I was the ONLY customer they had, instead of squeezed in amongst the other customers. The car was tuned and inspected in a day. I have moved out of the DC area, but will gladly return to have my car in for Allen's service.

Took my car in for an annual check-up. They found problems than I expected but were able to show and explain the reasons for various repairs including preventive ones. Even if cost some times are high at least you know you are not scammed into unnecessary repairs and not overcharged for what is done.

TRUST - I never doubt the advice provided by Henry or his team -- well deserving of 5 stars!

We have been taking cars to Henry for 15+ years and we have always found him to be honest & caring. Lately, we have a car with an extended warranty and the dealership has given us a string of recommended repairs with estimates of $1000+ on several occasions. Not covered by the warrantee. SO each time we drive to Henry who, after examining the car, laughs and says that what is needed is nothing or something far, far cheaper. His air conditioning repair was $450. Throw in a brake job, oil change, new headlight, some switch work on the dash board and the total was $300 less than the dealership wanted for a job that clearly would not have fixed the issue. All I can say is take your car to Henry for fair, honest service at a good price!

What visit? I had placed an order for a replacement hubcap. I was called that it had come in from Nissan the next day, I came by, it was installed in two minutes and I drove away! Quick, responsive service!
