Spoke with Alyssa. She said she is happy with her overall experience. However, they fixed her air conditioner without asking her. She went in to have the radiator fixed and after she picked up her vehicle, it completely lost power. The lights won't come on and the trunk won't open.

I brought my Mustang in for oil change, lub, manual transmission fluid change and 4-wheel alignment. The car was taken into the garage right at my appointment time, and the work was completed about 90 minutes later. The car was clean upon return, and has been running well since. The price for the service was reasonable. Allen will only charge you for the work they actually do; even if you ask them to do something, if they assess the work is not necessary, they won't do it and won't charge you for it. That kind of honesty is rare today. I purchased a set of tires at Radial Tire Company, also in Silver Spring, and they referred me to Allen Automotive for an alignment. I asked for a 4-wheel alignment. Allen Automotive checked all 4 wheels, but only performed the alignment on the front 2 because the rear two were in suitable configuration. I was a first time customer, and would have willingly paid for all 4 wheels, since that is what I asked for. I'm very impressed by the integrity shown by Allen Automotive, and will return to them for additional service needs.
