my vehicle, (a 1999 ford escort SW) had an engine problem that was wrongly diagnosed and given a DEATH sentence!! by ANOTHER incompetant mechanic!!. henry and the shop 'saved my white ass'!, even though i had to part with a punishing amount of money. (not unusual for MAJOR engine work!!) the car now runs good as new, and i'm THRILLED!! to have it running again, as i LOVE the escort wagons. after a few years of dealing with various shops, i am glad to find a shop i'm willing to trust!, after using a good friend for years, who retired from the business. i'll certainly be back to see henry again, i was treated right, and i thoroughly like they way he/the shop does business! i was taken in the shop to observe some of the repair work, and saw WHY some parts needed replacing, that were obviously part of my problem/s. being an ex-electrician, and 'mechanic' myself; this meant a lot to me. -GREAT shop!! i was referred by a long time friend, and the shop was ALSO recommended by a 2nd friend.

My go-to local shop for things I don't want to do myself. Friendly people and fair prices. They did the 100k mile service on my 2006 4runner and I had no issues. My favorite tire shop (Radial Tire) recommended Allen Auto to me for an alignment a few years ago. If they are good enough for Radial they are good enough for me.

I took the car in for a problem with the heater. While fixing that, the technician noticed that one headlight was very dim. As a result, I was able to have the bulb replaced before I was unknowingly driving with a burned out headlight.

Allen Automotive is the mechanic you've always dreamed of finding but never could. Behind the red painted brick wall of the shop in an unimpressive industrial park lie immaculate service bays, top notch mechanics and technicians....attention to you and to your car like you've never had. The staff listens and pays attention, understanding that they may need to diagnose a problem even though you might not speak "mechanic" in describing it. No, they aren't cheap----but these guys are craftsmen & you absolutely get what you pay for. (They are NOT rip-off artists, inventing things to fix and then charge you for.) If you need multiple issues attended to----say in an older vehicle--Henry always contacts you to describe the problem and ask if you want them to fix it, BEFORE he takes action. AA never assumes.

Very professional, HENRIK the owner of the shop is very nice and professional. He spends time to explain throughly about the problem my car had. It was very informative and helpful.
